Ugh, this sucks. My place keys are totally missing and I have no idea where they could be. I've checked everywhere – my purse, the countertops, even under the mattress. Nothing. Now I'm freaking out because I don't know what to do.
I can't afford calling a locksmith right now, so maybe there are some ideas I could try?

Ugh! Locked Out of My Ride Again!
Well, surely this is just great. Here I am, left on the verge of the road again. My car, that piece of junk, decided to decide now of all times to lock me out.
I swear, I just had it serviced/tuned up/looked at. The keys are probably| The darn keys are hidden under a pile of stuff, but I can't even get inside to look!
- Maybe I should have listened to that friend/neighbor/coworker who told me to buy a spare key/keep a hidden key/get an electronic lock.
- This is definitely going to ruin my day.

Trapped and Overwhelmed
That horrible/awful/terrible feeling of being locked out definitely strikes a chord with the best of us. You're standing there, staring at your own door, feeling utterly helpless/lost/confused. Your keys are nowhere to be found, and it seems like every solution you try just leads to increased despair. It can feel totally defeating in that moment.
You start running through possible scenarios but nothing feels right. Maybe you could call a friend/ask a neighbor/reach out to someone nearby for help? Or perhaps you should try climbing in through the window/look for a spare key/check with building management? But then again, those options all seem risky/inconvenient/downright impossible.

Help! My Car Ate My Keys!
Well, this is a real one. I was just unlock/open car when the whole thing went south/haywire/bonkers. My keys, they just went down/poof! I looked and looked around, but they're gone/there was no sign of them/I couldn't find them anywhere. Now I'm screwed outside with a car that looks like it has swallowed my keys whole/is actively trying to eat them/decided to be a jerk today.
